Indoor Flying

Indoor flying has been suspended due to the Covid situation.

When flying does recommence the conditions of use of the hall regarding public liability insurance means that only fully paid up BMFA members (and fellows) are entitled to fly and the committee reserves the right to check that any flyer is a member of the BMFA and ask for the production of a membership card.  It is important therefore that all club members wishing to fly indoors during the winter season should pay their affiliation fees to the membership secretary before the end of December.

Durafly Spitfire – Hobbyking

New model from Hobbyking. The Durafly Spitfire Mk1a has been designed for either 3S or 4S set-ups (2200-2600 65C 3S/ 2200mah 40C 4S) and thanks to its superb handling and well-balanced flight characteristics it will instill confidence in those who fly it. Like the full size aircraft this model is a joy to fly and it will of course perform the full range of aerial manoeuvres expected of a WW2 warbird including of course the iconic Spitfire “victory roll”.
