The Sheffield Society of Aeromodellers (SSA) is a model flying club based in Sheffield, S.Yorks. Our members fly a variety of models including rc electric aircraft, rc gliders, slope soarers, rc helicopters and indoor models. We have a number of electric flying sites and slope sites depending on wind direction. We hold regular club meeting, shows and auctions.

If you are new to model flying then our members are always willing to help. You will receive advice on the best equipment to buy and even tuition if you need it. We have a club trainer for slope soaring so you dont have to own a model to get flying. BMFA insurance is however compulsory for all members.
